Eva Rose // 19 months

Because it's been a while since I've posted any pictures of my little girl, I thought I'd share a few that I've taken, the snow ones back in February, and the remainder just a month ago.

Eva is growing so fast. She's 19 months old, gets into everything, and I used to think she couldn't possibly make bigger messes than she used to. Well, I was wrong. I've practically given up on housecleaning, because two seconds after the house is semi-clean, it's back to looking like a cyclone hit it. And I don't have boys! I think Eva has a hidden agenda to see how fast she can wear Mommy out. Needless to say, I love nap time. Thankfully, even though she makes it harder, she does try to help me clean to the best of her capabilities.

But in all seriousness, I love her so much. Not only does she keep me laughing all day with her antics and funny baby gibberish, but she adds so much joy and meaning to my life. I love watching her grow and learn new things every day. She loves to play outside. She'd stay out all day if I let her. She also loves to explore everything, so she's quite the little adventurer. Inside, she likes me to chase her through the house so I can tickle her, and she loves looking through photo albums, especially if they have pictures of babies. As I write this she's doing just that, so her bringing pictures to me every minute or so is greatly prohibiting my typing. She's definitely a girly girl, because not only does she love getting into all my makeup and jewelry, but she'll bring bracelets and her princess crown to me during the day so she can wear them. And when I tell her "pretty!" she runs off laughing. Just today she brought a bright coral shirt of mine to me, wanting to wear it. And being the good mom I am I let her, even though it practically drowns her, and almost drags the floor.

Even when life is dull, it's not really, not with Eva around. The best time to be entertained is when she's unaware that I'm watching, she's in her own little world, and playing by herself. I'll eventually start pealing with laughter, and she probably thinks I'm some kind of crazy woman over here rocking with laughter over seemingly nothing.

But, now, it's well past her nap time (and speaking of which, she hates bedtime with a bigger passion than any baby I've ever known), so now I'm gonna be the bad guy when I go to lay her down. At least she acts like she loves me after her nap.

Enjoy these pictures of my little princess!
