Kirstie // 2015 Senior [practice shots]

It was spur of the moment, but this girl and I decided to take a few practice shots one day at her house before her main senior picture session (which is coming up soon, and I'm so excited about it! We've got big plans).  So, here are a few for you to enjoy of this 2015 senior, who is absolutely stunning.  This girl could do anything.  She is a master artist...painter...crafter...crocheter...hairdresser...makeup artist...you name it!  I love how these pictures turned out, and they were only some practice shots!  I can't wait to do her senior session!  Imagine a flowy, creamy lace dress, beautifully curled locks of hair back-lit by the sun...it's coming soon, folks!

It's totally not prejudice when I say I have the best models to use whenever I want (need I mention the fact that they are my very own siblings?).  Ever since I bought my camera a little over a month ago, I can't remember how many photo shoots I've made them bear through (no, just kidding, they enjoy it).  So, when my baby sister turned five yeas old on August 21...you guessed it, I just had to do a mini photo shoot.  And let me tell you, I couldn't be more pleased with how well her pictures turned out!  The lighting was fabulous, and Liberty was the perfect little child-model. See for yourself!  These are definitely some of my favorite of all favorite pictures.  And not because she's my sister.  I'm serious, I'm not biased.

A goal of mine right now is developing my photography skills as much as possible, and what better way to do that (besides practicing on my adorable baby girl), then having photoshoot after photoshoot with my immensely beautiful, model-like sisters.  To say that they're beautiful is an understatement.  I don't want to say that God has blessed them with being super gorgeous, because God has also blessed plain girls like me, and saying that would kinda sound like the only ones who are blessed are the beautiful ones.  We all have different blessings to be thankful for.  I love finding quotes from Audrey Hepburn because, even though she was an extraordinarily beautiful woman herself, I believe she realized that true beauty isn't just the outward beauty of a woman, but rather comes from the heart.

"The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mode but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives; the passion that she shows. The beauty of a woman grows with the passing years." 

So now I would like to introduce you to three of my sisters: Grace, Kirstie, and Katie. Not only are they beautiful, but they are sweet, kind, and caring.  They make the best of friends, because we can truly be ourselves around one another, without having to worry about putting on a facade. Thanks, girls, for letting me take pictures of y'all whenever I want.  I hope I do your beauty- inside and out- true justice.
