Jake + Marlee 09.05.15 // Noblesville, Indiana Wedding Photographer

It was a very hot and humid first Saturday of September. As unromantic as it sounds, everyone sweated profusely, but in the end, no one really cared. It was Jake and Marlee's wedding day, they were so much in love, and it ended up being a beautiful day despite the temperature (even though they had to do their first look indoors at her parents' house because of the heat, but hey, who's complaining?). It was my absolutely honor and privilege to be chosen to photograph their day, so I thought I'd share with y'all a few highlights of their wedding day!

The marriage of the happy couple took place at First Presbyterian Church in Noblesville, with an outdoor reception in the backyard of the bride's parents' house. It was a blissful  setting, as any wedding typically is. Jake + Marlee were so sweet to watch as they made their rounds during the reception- conversing, laughing, and eventually dancing with all of their guests. There was lots of rejoicing, as everyone celebrated the union of two people in love.

Every detail of the wedding was sweet and lovely, from Marlee's grandmother's wedding dress, to her rose gold ring, and the vibrant flowers that added that perfect bit of colorful "pop" to everything. When I first met with Marlee I took an instant liking to her as we chatted about all things wedding and life. She's energetic and bubbly, loves animals (especially her dog Kevin and horse Conner), and is an all around friendly girl who loves her family and friends. I can't say enough how thankful I am that I got to document their special day! Jake + Marlee, congratulations on your marriage, and God bless you both with many wonderful years together!

And of course, enjoy your honeymoon. :)

I don't think I could've made it through the day without this guy right here, and he actually did a fantastic job being my second shooter for the first time! He caught on quick, and didn't seem to mind the inner me that comes out when I have to take charge. ;)
