Jeremy + Jacque were married on a beautiful day in September that felt like maybe fall was here to stay. The wind was ferocious however, so much so that it was impossible to get a picture of the bridal party's dresses outside altogether. The wind caused the air to be a bit nippy, and as the day progressed into the evening the temperature continued to drop until it hit perfect sweater weather.
Like I said, it was a beautiful day. The entire wedding took place in Jeremy + Jacque's very own backyard- completely surrounded by cornfields- which made it seem like the perfect Indiana wedding. It was a picturesque setting, with their quaint little house out in the country nestled in-between all those cornfields. They were pronounced man and wife in front of their family and dearest friends, and I couldn't have been more honored to be their photographer. Thank you, Jacque and Jeremy, for choosing me!
Jacque is one of those girls who is so beautiful and sweet that you want to be jealous but can't because she's simply too sweet. I loved getting to know a little bit about her in the couple of times we met before the wedding, and then on the big day itself. I didn't get the entire story, but from what I was told it was Jacque's parents who first introduced her to Jeremy, and even maybe schemed a little bit to get them together. And as we can all see, God had a plan in bringing them together, because here they are now, married with an adorable little baby boy named Mason!
The day ended with a stunning sunset, and wrapped up the day by enveloping everything in golden orange and red. There had been both happy and sad tears throughout the day, but it was a joyous occasion through it all. I love getting to stand back and capture two people unite in love and matrimony. It makes me all sappy and teary-eyed, and at the end of the day when my feet and back are killing me, I have a headache, and all I want to do is go home and ooze (and maybe eat some comfort food), I'm reminded of how worth it all it is, and I couldn't be happier that I get to participate in such a blessed event.
Congratulations, Jeremy and Jacque, may God bless you both with many wonderful years together!
