// Liberty // 5 years old

It's totally not prejudice when I say I have the best models to use whenever I want (need I mention the fact that they are my very own siblings?).  Ever since I bought my camera a little over a month ago, I can't remember how many photo shoots I've made them bear through (no, just kidding, they enjoy it).  So, when my baby sister turned five yeas old on August 21...you guessed it, I just had to do a mini photo shoot.  And let me tell you, I couldn't be more pleased with how well her pictures turned out!  The lighting was fabulous, and Liberty was the perfect little child-model. See for yourself!  These are definitely some of my favorite of all favorite pictures.  And not because she's my sister.  I'm serious, I'm not biased.

Calling all 2015 Seniors!

It's back to school (unless you're homeschooled and you don't start until after Labor Day- one of the many reasons I loved and love homeschool).  And for all you 2015 graduates, it's time to start thinking about getting your senior pictures done.  Exciting, right?!  Then let's get started!  You can contact me via email- raesusanna@gmail.com- to schedule your session (check here for pricing).  I'd love to hear from you, and even more love to photograph your last memories as a high school student!

So, congrats, all you seniors!  I hope your last year of high school is filled to the brim with unforgettable memories and happiness!

 "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." -Philippians 3:13-14

Indiana State Fair (and Christian concert)

Sunday night (August 10th) was pretty amazing.  My husband Dannie and I took our baby girl Eva and three of my sisters to the Indiana State Fair, because one of my sisters had won free tickets through her summer reading program at the local library.  We chose Sunday night because there was a free Christian concert, starring Digital Age and Rend Collective.  Needless to say, that settled the matter of which night we should go, and even more needless to say, everything about that night was awesome (and did I mention that funnel cakes are absolutely divine?  Even if they're simply calorie/carb loaded dough fried in fattening oil.  Fairs only come around once a year, so I splurged...just a little).  My sisters were absolutely ecstatic to go, and ended up riding the most daring ride called "Speed" with Dannie.  These pictures are to show you just how much fun they had (and then following are a few photos of the concert, which was a great success).  Enjoy!
