State Fair 08.18.15 // Indiana Photographer

Last week Dannie, Eva, and I went to the Indiana State Fair with my sister Grace and brother-in-law Nathan, but since it was $2 Tuesday it was extremely crowded. We walked around for a while before we decided to go bowling instead, but before we left we had to get the milkshakes I'd heard so much about. And let me tell you, I'm not kidding when I say it was the absolute best milkshake I've ever had. Super, super delish.

My husband kinda makes fun of me sometimes because I'm always wanting to take pictures, but I don't mind because he isn't exactly mean about it. He just doesn't understand my passion for all things photography. We all tend to pursue what we love and what makes us passionate, and photography is one of mine. Besides, one day we'll look back and be very glad I chose to document so much of our lives. Memories in of themselves don't last forever, unless we have photographic evidence. Besides, every chance I can get to hone my skill, I take it.

My sister Grace, now a married woman of almost seven months just recently got her first DSLR, so naturally I offered to take some head shots for her (you can see them at the bottom of this post). I love any chance I get to spend with my sister, because she now lives 40 minutes away, so we don't get together as often as I'd like. I'm praying that one day they'll move closer! Until then, I'll just continue to enjoy every little minute we get to spend together!
